A lifelong-learner, Neil has a passion for knowledge (although he now wishes that he had paid more attention when he was in high school!). His formal education includes (in reverse chronological order):
- He is currently in the dissertation phase for a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Northcentral University. He will graduate in 2009.
- He has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Northcentral University.
- In a previous life, he attended two and a half years of a three year mechanical engineering diploma program before he realized that he was more interested in business and psychology. He believes that the time was well spent because he is now able to think in a very logical and analytical way (something he uses daily!).
As a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the International Federation of Professional Speakers, he is required to continually enhance his knowledge. He has been awarded the following certification:
- Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), the highest earned designation within the speaking industry (a distinction held by less than ten percent of professional speakers worldwide).
He is self-taught in the following areas:
- Dreamweaver web development software
- Premiere Pro video editing
- Visual Basic computer programming
