• Member of the Arizona Governor’s Council for Workforce Development Policy, and Chairman of its Performance Measures Taskforce
• Served as a Director of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and was Chairman of its Workforce Readiness and Economic Development Committees
• Society for Human Resource Management's School-to-Work Committee
• Chairman of the Workforce Readiness Committee of the Valley of the Sun Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (Note: he earned this Chapter the Society for Human Resource Management's Pinnacle Award for his efforts in workforce development)
